Interesting to ponder.
We are often like Korach. Often with good reason, we don't have any mediators between us & God anymore, except for the Messiah our High Priest, but we do have leaders who we should cooperate with out of reverence for God. God has not delivered us from servant leadership.

Some of the article is a bit of a stretch.
It's also hard to picture God having to "grow into a teacher" and "learn" to do things. Is He not already perfect?

I am glad that there is a rabbi now regularly contributing to Sojourners.

It would be great if there was an imam of like-mind who also started contributing.

I think some of the completion of this meme is in Acts, where God pours his Holy Spirit on all people, fulfilling the promises of Joel. Part of Korah's objection was that Moses shouldn't be the only one speaking with God. God responds to that inner desire at Pentecost.
