Often with good reason, we don't have any mediators between us & God anymore, except for the Messiah our High Priest, but we do have leaders who we should cooperate with out of reverence for God. Is He not already perfect? Interesting to ponder.

Part of Korah's objection was that Moses shouldn't be the only one speaking with God. God responds to that inner desire at Pentecost.
