		<description>As I have previously posted, the construction of well-designed walking and cycling infrastructure can be egalitarian, not to mention good for the environment and ourselves. The rail-trail you mention is one example of such infrastructure, Retrofitting our streets to accomodate walking and cycling will take time and money, but yes it can be done.</description>
