Nice thoughts, well spoken. So far this year, our little church has purchased and delivered over 18000 lbs. of meat to local outreach charities, who get it directly to the hungry and needy of our communities. The church discovered that unsold meat (meat that "dates out" at the grocery) is often thrown away. We talked the manager of the stores into freezing it and selling it in bulk, and at discount, to the church, which then is priveleged to give it to those who are currently hurting. I think we all recognize that, here in RV manufacturing country, "currently hurting" could mean any of us, at pretty much anytime.
