Just Say No to Khartoum Appeasement

In a column yesterday, Eric Reeves tells it like it is: The Obama administration's special envoy to Sudan, Scott Gration, is making terrible mistakes that gravely increase the danger for civilians in Darfur (and elsewhere in Sudan).

On the humanitarian front, Gration has said too little about the humanitarian crisis in Darfur and the consequences of Khartoum's March 4 expulsion of 13 key international humanitarian organizations; he has demonstrated little appreciation for what was lost, and the difficulty in generating new capacity. Stop-gap measures are beginning to fail at the height of the rainy season, and a number of camps report grave health and sanitation crises.

Inexplicably, Gration has said in public that it may be time for the "voluntary" return of 2.7 million displaced persons in Darfur

obama wants to look good no matter the cost to anyone. dont let him decieve you. he will say what you want to hear. he is a liar of liars. I dont think darfur is on the agenda list of to many countries. which is sad. the reason is because none of them are willing to be as nasty as those in that region. they are merciless to anyone. Thr only way to win their is to be as merciless as they are, with out all the rap and torture etc. And we wonder why or how God in scripture could wipe out whole nations of people. because evil is evil. Life can be very ugly at times. I would not know the course of action myself. it is a very tough situation.
