We Must Act on Health Care

How many of us average Joes and Janes have been able to read the -- what is it-- 1,000 pg. plan that has been outlined? Can any supporter sum up how this will improve health care to the poor, while lowering the deficit? Are the same people who nail the military about $700 hammers now defending this plan?

And please tell me Mr. Wallis, can you have work with anyone on the other side of the aisle? Maybe this is a way that the Left is getting their comeupance for ignoring the abortion problem....

I say abolish insurance corporations. But before jumping to conclusions, I must also say that I believe we should likewise abolish government funded insurance, which is the source of the problem of high premiums, and even the need for corporate insurance. I'd rather be self-sufficient, thanks, but I can't be until it's economically reasonable.

Yeah, I'd do some of these things if I thought it would do any good; but my congressman is Phil Gingrey of Georgia's 11th District. Having sent a letter already, his response seems to indicate that he's commited to the status quo. Around here, it seems, there isn't enough support for this to get him to change his mind. I hope those in other districts in our country have better luck with their congressmen.

Even if with correct information, I'am still not a supporter of the Obama's health care plan. That plan needs some more detailed facts and more work on getting the plan to be better presentable for both sides of our parties. Until Obama does this you will continue to see this as a controversial healthcare war. I'm not saying the plan needs to be pleasing to everybody because that's impossible...it just needs more clarity and more detailed to take out the misinformation and fear factors. When it comes to people's health they want a peace of mind about what they're getting.

I do not want Healthcare reform, not according to the way the bill is written now. If this bill passes it will give Gov't too much access. In addition abortion would be funded. Lets not forget most members of Congress has not read the bill. I fear there would be major rationing of Healthcare in addition look at Oregon that has universal healthcare.

I watched a news caster read some of it , yikes no wonder our elected officials pay people to tell them whatt it might mean . Perhaps it would have been wiser to implement this overhaul in sections ? Hard to support something that the average person can not understand and has to rely on a politician to tell them .

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cornish are on Cavuto. They are Dems who are angry at how Dingell and others are ramming ObamaCare down our throats. According to them, only SEIU/ACORN people were ushered into Dingell's town meeting. They had the first four rows reserved for Obama supporters. Non-supporters were crowded into the back of the room or blocked from entering. No anti-Obamacare signs were allowed. The four rows of union thugs made sure the cameras could not see anyone else or record what they were saying. Finally, when frustrated opponents in the back of the room tried to ask questions, they were drowned-out by chants from the ACORN thugs. One guy -- the father of the guy with CP -- finally made it to the front and confronted Dingell (he and his family have since been threatened with death for opposing The Messiah's plan).
The Cornishes had more interesting info. There was a guy carrying a swastika sign outside and trying to get attention as a "racist opponent of Obama." Once the cameras went away, he ditched his sign and started handing-out pro-Dingell re-election material.
The Cornishes are fed-up with Obama's thugocracy and said so. Don't know if this opinion is shared by other Dems.

Well we do have a problem with the Constitution in regards to abolishing insurance companies . But I really would be more inclined to abolish political parties , it seems there is where much of problem has root .

The really sad part is that people believe this nonsense. Perhaps the people of the United States are just too downright stupid to throw off the shackles of the Insurance and Pharma companies that put profits ahead of the welfare of the sick. It could be that we just have the healthcare system (more accurately disease state management industry) that we deserve.

I believe that. I'm not downright stupid. I read--have you read Brave New World? Or read Vonnegut's short story Welcome to the Monkey House? "Death panels" is exactly what will happen when the government has to distribute money for health care--those most useful to the government will be first in line. And I think Sarah Palin has a brilliant mind--and the backbone to speak that mind. She is simply repeating Mary's Magnificat in the current political situation.

Obama thinks we have 57 states. He's been to all of them.
