I'm always in favor of transparency, so whatever level of knowledge the American people, and the citizens of any individual state, can acquire, is a major step in the right direction.

You mean DEMOCRAT Rep. Melissa Bean? Now why would she introduce that, except to further consolidate the power of the Federal government over our lives? We have much stronger payday lending and financial regulation that the Feds offer, and yet here is further effort by Illinois Dems to convey their vision of financial reform on the country. Sorry if I find it hard to accept that, considering the history of the Illinois Democrats for the last 50 years...

We have much stronger payday lending and financial regulation that the Feds offer, and yet here is further effort by Illinois Dems to convey their vision of financial reform on the country.
