I don't agree with Tea Party-ers in everything, but some of what they stand for is good and right. I don't agree with Sojourners in everything, but some of what they stand for is good and right. On the Sojourners website Jim calls out those of the Tea Party to take a stand on this issue. Red herring - It is not theirs to stand on. Not every group can take on every issue.

On the issue of this immigration law, Mr. Wallis is correct that it goes too far and, I believe, difficult to enforce without racial profiling in its worst form. Does that negate the fact that there is a problem with crime by illegal aliens of any racial background? No. But this is not the answer.

In the interest of full disclosure, I admit to being the father of 3 hispanic teen sons. I can only imagine some of the incidents that could occur if we lived in Arizona.

Does this mean that people in Arizona better carry a passport, birth certificate, or proof of being in the country legally? Is it going to be enforced equitably, or enforced on people of dark skin? I doubt that I, an elderly white male, would be asked for my papers. But I think I'll just stay out of Arizona!

You can't trust Jim Wallis, and I'll tell you why. He supports "reform", and that "reform" is being sold as having enforcement provisions. Yet, he wants to completely undercut the enforcement provisions in what he supports.

If someone promotes, say, fining polluters but doesn't tell you about all the loopholes, can you trust them? Of course not.

The huge loophole Wallis wants is on the first video, where he says "enforcement that breaks up families is unacceptable to us." What that means is that anyone who came here illegally and had a U.S. citizen child - as millions have - would get a ticket to stay. Mexicans aren't dumb, even if many like Wallis treat them like children. They'll quickly figure out the "Wallis rule" and know that if they have a child here they won't be deported.

And, Wallis isn't telling you about that.

Not only that, but Wallis also engages in false compassion: he complains about border deaths while supporting policies that will lead to even more border deaths.

Please go to one of his appearances and press him on what he's not revealing and on what's at the link on video, then upload it to Youtube.

Gov. Jan Brewer has signed SB 1070 into law. Round 1. The racist Hispanic/Latino lobby, criminal supporters. and the national liberal media will spin it as hate, racial profiling and hide the truth from those who still watch their diminishing broadcasts.

Americans are racist to oppose illegal immigration. Right?

Alarms sounded. Spanish-speaking media helped get the word out. The racist nativist's, Minutemen, and assorted White supremest groups were to spread hate against undocumented migrants, those who come here for a better life, those who do the work Americans won't do, and brown people.

No, Americans of all races have repeatedly expressed their disapproval for out-of-control illegal aliens running rampant through our cities, and the upcoming Amnesty pushed by the racist Illinois Congressman and Mexican loyalist, Luis Gutierrez. After all, Democrats have to pay the Hispanic community back for allowing illegal immigrants to vote in our elections (an offense that would get you a prison sentence in Mexico).

Whites have become the racial scapegoat in this battle. No other race could possibly reject the hordes of illegals flooding our country.
Why is it that the children of illegal aliens are granted the same rights and privileges as the descendants of slaves for whom the Fourteenth Amendment was written into the Constitution? Why should Black American children have to compete with millions of illegal alien children for seats in schools, quality attention from educators, diminishing social services and ever-distant opportunities? Why is the proud refrain, "We Shall Overcome" now muffled by the clamor of "We Will Overwhelm and Take Your Country?" If you seek answers, just look to the "racist" groups like The National Council of La Raza (The Race), MeCHA, LULAC, and a terrorist group called the "Mexica Movement." Their official platform says:

"We totally reject all illegal European Colonial Squatter Occupation Borders on our continent. We also reject Colonialism's right to keep stealing the wealth of our lands. And we reject their artificial divisions of our people!" This is a group that thinks America is their property, and anyone who doesn't fit their description should leave the country. What it also means is this is a hateful, racist and terrorist group, and it should be dealt with. Of course, we will be called racist. What Americans are fed up with are the millions and millions of people who come here and do not want to assimilate or learn the language. People who send their earnings? "home" to another country. People who are turning 2 bedroom apartments and single family homes into illegal camps housing up to 100. People who are stealing I.Ds and Social Security numbers from American taxpayers. People who are turning entire neighborhoods and city sections into Tijuana's, where half the store signs advertise "llanteras usadas." People who are killing American citizens at the rate of 27 per day through murder, drunk driving, etc. People who expect and demand their kids to be taught in Spanish, and don't care what we Americans think. People who since 2000 have desecrated our National border parks with 45 million tons of trash.

People who drive illegally without auto insurance, or set enough aside to cover their? liabilities. People who use our expensive hospital emergency rooms as their cold and sniffle clinics. The real complaint here is that "lazy Americans" who still try to "follow the laws" find themselves increasingly squeezed and taxed, fingerprinted and regulated and licensed and strip-searched, while the illegals and their supporters thumb their noses, disregard our wishes, and give the finger to our laws.

Why would they want "reform" of laws they've shown no intention of obeying? What they really want is "belly up immigration surrender" - free instant citizenship rights to all government welfare benefits for any and all of their people who can get here. Why is it dangerous that we can't discuss these? things frankly in the open, without crippling euphemisms that disguise what this is really about?

Every 4 month, a population the size of Tallahassee, FL pours across our southern border. They are not undocumented. They are illegal aliens. Period. Americans have been conned and numbed to accept this infestation as normal.

In 1997, pres Zedillio proclaimed "I have proudly affirmed that the Mexican nation extends beyond the territory enclosed by it's borders." MALDEF founder Mario Obledo stated, "California is going to be a Hispanic state. Anyone who doesn't like it should leave. Every constitutional office in California is going to be held by Hispanics in the next 20 years." People who don't like such demographic changes "should go back to Europe." Mexico's president Fox was unrelenting in his brazen demands on the US, starting with open borders even before he was elected. He called for the border to be a "joining line." His visits to the US was filled with endless requirements for Mexican citizens illegally in this country

Don't do this, don't do that, what is the right policy? Make a plain statement Wallis!
What law, rule, statutes, specifically should be enforced?
I just ordered a custom bumper sticker for my car. It reads: "I provide refuge to illegal immigrants."
At some point soon Christians may need to deliberately stop carrying identifying documents in protest to what these Arizona lawmakers have done. If no citizens carry documents, then they will be arrested along with the illegals, making it more expensive and difficult for to enforce this new policy.
I urge you now, Arizonian Christians, leave your ID at home.
